Here's exactly what happens, step by step.
You're hanging out with a friend
Maybe you're at brunch and you love the coffee. Maybe your friend just got new boots and you want to know where they're from. Vouch starts where great recommendations already happen — in real life.
No scrolling through feeds. No searching for reviews. Just a natural conversation between two people who trust each other.
Open the app and connect
One of you opens Vouch and taps "Start a Vouch." Your phones find each other via Bluetooth — no location tracking, just proximity.
The Bluetooth connection proves you're physically together. This is the foundation of what makes Vouch authentic: recommendations only happen face-to-face.
The Voucher recommends a brand
The Voucher picks a brand from the app's directory. It could be a restaurant, a clothing brand, a fitness studio — any business on the Vouch platform.
The Listener receives the recommendation. It lands in their Vault — a personal collection of every recommendation their friends have shared, complete with any exclusive coupons attached.
Both of you earn rewards
The Voucher earns points for sharing a recommendation and builds their Cred — a reputation score that reflects the quality of their taste. When the Listener redeems the coupon, the Voucher earns even more — because their word led to action.
The Listener earns points too, and gets a coupon they can use at the recommended brand. Coupon validity depends on the brand's offer. Just a deal from a brand their friend trusts.
